Now that's better than electric. Good looking run about too. Dread to think what they cost.

So after you drive 300 mile where do you go to fill your 10,000 PSI hydrogen tank?

They need an energy source to 'steam' the methane to extract the hydrogen.
90% of what is then produced is not hydrogen, but CO, CO2 and other greenhouse gasses (which are usually just released into the atmosphere).
So does a 'green' hydrogen-powered car produce less greenhouse gasses per mile than a purely petrol/diesel/electric vehicle?

Why not lead the biogas directly in an engine?
Thats cheaper, more efficient and has been done for many many years.
This is more the Rube Goldberg way.....

£65k+ in the UK... but there's supposed to be a leasing scheme at £750/month including maintenance, tyres and fuelDucklakeview wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2017 1:18 pmCan't see a price on the UK site, but in the US, they are $53k, but get a $7,500 rebate and $15k to cover 3 years fuel.. $2499 down and lease for $349 a month..
A bigger barrier to owing one might be the lack of refueling options as there are only three UK sites capable of delivering hydrogen at 700 bar (in Heathrow, Hendon & Swindon) but there are another six planned to open this year.

Mind you for all those posh London commuters, one prob makes sense as no congestion or LEZ charges to pay.

Anyone remember all those "The Car In Front Of You Is A Toyota" stickers in back windows (they only were until I could get past them)!
Maybe now it should be "Toyota - Sh1t In Motion".
