The new hobby

Good morning everyone,

Of late on the forum I have had to pull out of several purchases and also some of the regular and annual Z4 meets. I'm not usually one to do this but needs must. I can now happily explain why......

In December last year my wife and I received the wonderful news that she was pregnant after a first failed attempt. Over the last few months I have forgotten how many times we have been to the hospital for varying scans and I cannot for the life of me remember the names of any of the multiple midwifes we have seen. Problems developed during the pregnancy which as an expecting first time father was very scary as I was helpless to do anything about it.

Thankfully with all the wonderful help from the NHS (theses guys n gals deserve medals) our little bundle of joy arrived on Monday at 5:18am weighing in at 8.3 and is a perfectly healthy baby. Was a scary 48hrs of labour due to other complications but again the NHS staff have been wonderful and now we have him at home.

I just need to find him a mini motorised Z4 so he too can join the forum.

Congratulations! That's wonderful news, so glad that everything turned out well for you, I hope you enjoy every moment with the little one :D

And thanks for the kind words about the NHS staff, as a husband to a midwife, I know how much it takes out of them so it really helps to hear that they're appreciated!

Many congratulations to you and Mrs R. Won't be long before he's a petrol head!

Time flies. Both of mine now well past 30 years old - where did that time go?

Enjoy fatherhood!
