It's understandable that you want one after constantly admiring and trying to catch mine for 4 days.
You're bound to give into that itch soon so I suppose you'd may as well do it sooner than later.

Have you got your eye on a specific one ?? - Any luck ?

from what i've seen of the Alpina so far my biggest concern is the roof motor, i think maybe the roof motors don't work in the dark and cold

He's looking for exclusivity, not mass production models.

You need to keep up and stay closer... My roof was down for 630 of the 652 miles last week... :D

You are going to have some collection then,Pete....if you can hold onto the M and the 3.0si Coupe.......the Alpina are great, but you can't be putting your foot down enough,or are changing up too soon,if you can't keep up with the Alpina in an M,lol :poke:

Great cars,all of them
If you get an Alpina, will you keep the M and Coupe too??

So you would keep the Coupe and the M,or get rid of the M and buy an Alpina?

If I were you,i wouldn't get rid of the M to buy an Alpina, but if you were keeping the M and adding an Alpina, then why not,go for it mate.

Looks like you had a great trip to France....lucky bugger's,well jealous, lol :driving:

If you have the funds, the garage space and the inclination for some smart suited retro, then what's stopping you. Get in there.

It would be added to the collection. I will only buy the right car at the right price. It may not happen but I will keep my eyes open

So, what are you looking for, Taz? Average mileage will be difficult, most will be on 70+ now (apart from the garage queens) - the last cars were made in 2005, so they're all 10+ years old now. Are you looking for any particular colours, lux or non-lux? I expect you will go for a totally unmodded, or modded with the originals included if it's to be an investment.
previous: Alpina Roadster S, #108: gone
current: MB C-class
