Heres another one from Silverstone Classics 2015. Probably my favourite image.

One of one.
Ferrari 250GT SWB breadvan, Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy For Historic Cars Pre '63 GT, Silverstone Classics 2015
Ferrari 250GT SWB breadvan, Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy For Historic Cars Pre '63 GT, Silverstone Classics 2015 by Tom Scott, on Flickr
The striking three-litre V12 scarlet Ferrari 250 GT SWB Breadvan is a one-off Ferrari made in 1962 from a 1961, chassis number 2819 GT. It was commissioned by Count Giovanni Volpi in 1962, when Enzo Ferrari refused to sell the immensely rich Venetian one of his new 250 GTOs, Volpi simply hired renowned engineer Giotto Bizzarrini to upgrade a Ferrari 250 GT SWB into a GTO beater – the result was the distinctive Breadvan, so known due to its extended rear roofline and shooting-break appearance. The re-bodied Ferrari made its debut at the 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours, outpacing all of Enzo’s GTOs before being sidelined by a driveshaft failure. Despite being immensely valuable, thanks to the enthusiasm of its current owner, it continues to regularly compete in major historic events such as the Silverstone Classic.

Interesting conditions Tom - must have added to your difficulty in catching impressive images.
Bet the range of engine and exhaust noise was epic as well.
Always a real pleasure to look through your work - thanks for posting

Re: The Image Thread 2015
Ye unfortunately on friday I had to retire early as both cameras packed in - being water logged. They are 'weather proof' but it was a yellow weather warning and was out about 6 hours they just couldn't handle it. Thankfully managed to dry them out for the next day.
Sat was a lovely day, unfortunately I had warn myself out and bumped into a few friends so enjoyed the day by looking round not really taking so many shots, apart from the group c twilight race above. Sunday was worse than friday and quite a few races were cancelled!
But overall a brilliant weekend as usual!
I will post a thread with all the images and the added editorial when its all finished. But thanks for the kind words
