@all: Thank you very much for the warm welcome !
I will post updates as soon as the weather will be better.
I am living in the "BM"-area and I had a lot of luck that this combination was available.

Why not - which one would you suggest for the photo comp?RubyBlueZ4MC wrote:nuebbes, welcome You have a lovely looking car there and some amazing pics of it. You should enter the monthly photo comp sometime.

Re: My space grey 35i in winter setup (19")
Long time off...
In the meantime I made some changes, which do not (all) refer to my winter setup anymore...
First I enhanced: the N-front:
After having the first spring temperatures 2 weeks ago, I already mounted my BMW Performance summer wheels (too early, because winter came back):
In addition I already mounted the summer wheels to our 125i convertible. Both cars have the same 19" wheel-design in the summer-setup, now.
Next changes: M-front bumper and BMW Performance kidneys (sorry @Maniac):

The legendary space grey...
I like the look of the BMW Performance wheels - subtly understated, light and sporty. A great improvement.

Re: My space grey 35i in winter setup (19") -> + summer setu
I really like the M Sport bumper, no need to apologise. I think on anything other than black, it can look better. But compare black M sport with black non M Sport and there's such little difference (certainly if you darken the lower intakes) because you simply can't see the bodywork as much in black. If I had a lighter coloured car, I may consider changing it, but I don't so I'm not. Plus I still like the fact that my car doesn't look like every other one I see driving around.
Your car looks really nice, I especially like the wheels, old school CSL look. I always held space grey as my favourite colour for the e89. Shows the lines, looks more sophisticated, and most importantly doesn't show the muck as much! (Still can't beat black when clean tho IMHO)

Black is beautiful (when it is clean and shiny) but it really absorbs any contours and is very high-maintenance. We have very hard water here, so I've vowed that I will never buy a black car again.
Thank you. Which old school CSL look do you mean? The BBS wheels?
Unfortunately the wrapping was not possible today because the paint must cure approx. three weeks before wrapping is possible. Otherwise there is the danger that the foil will not adhere, the paint will come loose by removing the foil (anytime) or that the paint could evaporate and that the foil gets pickaxe.
Instead of that I gave my roll bars to the paint shop to paint it in space grey, today.
So continuous small improvements...

Looks splendid! The low perspective really shows the perfect stance of those wheels. Although it must have been difficult to drive down those concrete stairs!

Re: My space grey 35i
Thanks!
@corsaire: lol - fortunately there was a ramp on the side...
In the meantime I made some more changes.
More power + wrapping of the lower M-bumper-bar in black matte:
Installation of 100 mm oem-style-exhaust-tail-pipes:
Next step: indicators (this summer)
