Found out a couple of weeks ago about the V8 breakfast that takes place at the Fennel Restaurant Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. Basically an Informal Breakfast Club meeting for Petrolheads in the North East of Scotland.

So went to it this morning with a mate of mine in his Cayman S - main visitors today were the Alvis/Riley Owners Club , below are some Photos of our morning out

Next week is Lambo Weekend - but i'm away with the Z4 Forum on the west coast so will miss it.

The Cayman S is a real grower- there is a lot of detail hidden in the lines which you only see when you look at it for a while, it sounds much better than the M on tick-over but the M delivers the sound further up the rev range.

The ///M in silver really does look cracking. The Cayman looks nice too.

x2 - and the red leather really sets it off. Second on my list of colour choices I believe Mr Z

Great photos - thanks for sharing !

Some cracking photos of some very nice motors, looks like you had a great morning with no rain showers either

Cheers- I'm working on how we work this into a North East Scotland Meet - would need to be a two dayer .

I missed quite a few too (busy having breakfast) -

what was brilliant was there is a space right in front of the restaurant which everyone avoids ( you have to be a bit certain of the pedigree of your car - Enzo, Dino, Mclaren all inhabited this spot last year ) ..... this week .. Morris Minor

Like the look of that - would indeed be nice to work into a meet. Meant to say I travelled across the A835 from Bonar Bridge to Ullapool at Easter - what a fantastic road that is, with plenty more in the region !

Pretty lucky yesterday as we pulled in to a local square for photos we got an invite down the Lairds Drive for Photos by the river

Nearly didnt make this as I found a sidewall puncture Friday evening - so some mad ringing around on Saturday Morning tracked down a set of Pilot Sports.

Nice pics ZermattV

I think the old-style Cayman's looks are more sensitive than most models to the choice of wheels and colour.

- is that being diplomatic ? :D

My mates is a good example has only 10k on it - he bought it a year ago with 2k on it

More photos of the other visitors now on Facebook (link above)

Z4 forum Scotland ( and Bing) .. we can talk about possible dates for our appearance when we are out and about Sunday .
