Cumbria looked stunning yesterday i drove through the Langdale Valley and up to Keswick before joining the Motorway and the light through the clouds picked out the autumn colours brilliantly

If I might offer some advice Ruth - a good sunset photo should include some interest in the foreground.jaRED wrote:These pics make me want to go on holiday
Impressed with the iphone ones as I always tell myself I can't take sunset photos as don't have the equipment. They always look really washed out compared to what I can see.
If you look back through some of the previous photos you'll see what I mean.

Tried the starburst effect on my camera in Venice but I think the rays on the effect are too big but anyway....

Its an effect from the film days, you used to be able to buy a Cookin fliter that when strong light hit it directly, it would give the starry effect.
