My Sterling - Updated
I've had my zed a couple of weeks now, but haven't managed to get any decent photos to share. However this evening I found myself in a fairly empty car park and couldn't resist the urge for a little photoshoot
My 3.0i sterling grey, automatic, 18000 miles, sat nav, recently installed Intravee and stubby
Thanks to this forum, I now have a list of desired mods longer than my life... So I will keep this thread updated when I make my way down the (never ending) list I now have

Re: My Sterling
Will be painting my brake calipers next weekend (thanks to some paint from Jonnyessex ) as the combination of dirty calipers and 108's bothers me too much haha.nfbr wrote:Nice what mods are you looking to do?
Then:
Private plates to go on
De-tango the lights
Replace middle rear brake light as it's slightly damaged
Wheel centre badges need replacing
Facelift rear bumper and lights
Ditch runflats
Got a scratch on the passenger grab handle and on the chrome of my steering wheel to repair
Then I want to replace the black leather with red (only thing the car was lacking that I wanted)
I didn't expect to perform any mods when I bought it, but I now fully expect this list to grow

Re: My Sterling
Maybe your the only member who likes the gingers and hates aerokits
I know everyone is different and at first I didn't mind gingers on my sterling and I think they actually look ok on a black z4 but once you have swopped you would never go back!
Last but not least OP enjoy your z4 and do what you want not others.... I just offered my personal opinion!
Sometimes I hate this forum...

If you take notice of any of my past posts you would actually realise the number plate in that position doesn't effect cooling at all!!

Re: My Sterling
Hahaha no arguing gents!
Personally the orangeness bothers me, so slowly but surely I will be replacing them. They didn't until I saw the clear lenses, again the fault of this forum
Not 100% set on black grills but want to see how they look.
Thanks for the responses, I've learnt an awful lot from this forum already and really appreciate feedback and advice. Will keep you all posted with any progress on the list
And obviously a load of pics!!
