Just got the windscreen replaced today (OEM) so brought it back to work to cure in the sun. Rather be driving it.... :D

Probably not the thread to be asking, but, how did you ensure you got OEM? Mine has a huge chip and I’ve been putting it off over fear of getting a cheaper version. Did you claim through insurance?

I have free windscreen extension to my insurance. When the windscreen fitters called to book the replacement I just told them I had heard that there were problems with the aftermarket windscreens and could I have the OEM? They said no problem and ordered it. They'll get paid by the insurance company either way, so are happy to oblige the customer if they ask.
Driving it away from the shop this morning with the top down, the visibility was incredible. You don't realise how pitted, scratched and scarred the windscreen gets until it's replaced. :thumbsup:
