Another amazing car.

If you don't mind me detouring from the thread too much, what did you think of the M6? Quite fancy one... :driving:

Thanks Tom :)

Not at all! The reason why I sold my previous Z4 M was that I got a great bid from a guy that kept begging me to sell the car and at that moment I started looking at other cars on my bucket list = M5 E60.
I just HAD to own a V10, love that engine sooo much!

Sold the Z4 and started looking for M5s = NONE for sale. None that matched my standards haha.

Found a low milaged Individual Moonstone M6 and fell in love with the bodywork IRL and the Coupe was so luxurious so I bought it.

The engine is pure porn, even though you actually can't here it that much even though it has 2 silencers less then the M5.

The ugly truth = The car was fast a hell! Did I say FAST AS HELL? :D haha... but man, it is so boring compared to the go-cart Z4M and the SMG sucks!

Sold the car pretty fast and X SEK in gasoline later haha. Started looking for a Z4 M again but here in Sweden there were actually only sold 38 of them so they are hard to find!

Then 1 year later and no one's for sale a seller contacted me. Superlow milage and really good condition but as you know my cars has to be mint ;)

Bought and I will NEVER EVER sell it !

I have been reading that you are looking for a new one as well?
I hope that you find a nice one because I loved your old one!

Sorry for the novel haha :)

That car genuinely looks better than the new cars in the BMW showrooms....kudos to to you sir!

As a rough estimate, how much have you spent getting it into that mint condition...?

Thanks!

Well the condition is good but of course it's 10 years old but I am replacing everything that's worn like faded plastic, rubber etc.

The money iv'e spent? ALOT! Haha I don't even want to know

Thanks for the info! Its a shame that the US got a manual and Europe got the SMG.

I have the same thoughts, the car is worth owning for the V10. Even if its only for a little while, although the MPG is quite shocking! Like you I really like the bodywork, the M5 is a little too purposeful for me! Interesting comparison to the Z4M. I'm really hesitant to get another although it seems like the most logical direction just fancy something different but there isn't really anything that fits the bill so I thought why not go all out and get the V10. Had a bit of a mechanical scare with a Porsche I bought which would have cost more than the car was worth to sort and it seems apart from the SMG the V10s seem as bulletproof as the other M engines within reason.

My problem like you is I'm really anal about the car too it has to be right, unfortunately all the cars ive looked at don't fit the bill and basically I'm asking too much of cars that are 11 years old without paying silly money.

I read a review recently of an M6 that had 160k on it! Apparently the cost to fuel it was nearly £80k! absolutely insane but the noise is incredible.

Cheers for the info, I haven't actually found any real ownership reviews. It seems a lot of people write a lot of scare tactics but many have not owned or driven one.

Looking forward to more updates on the Z4Mc
