Cheers mate. I did aswell. Loved the way it looked on them. Unfortunately when I went to have them refurbished, the guy informed me 3 of them had buckles and a couple had small cracks, so would require a lot more work than originally though = more £££££'s

I still have them in my garage. Not sure whether anyone would actually buy them with work needed, so may have to chuck them out for the scrapman :(

I got myself a hardtop a few weeks ago I can't believe the difference it makes with the road noise in the cabin it's
like night and day.
Just need to get myself a stand for it for the summer anyone got any recommendations for a stand?

I think black works well with most colours, Marlons red car look fine and my Torledo blue with black looks fine, after all, the soft tops are mostly black :)

Looks great that andy  matches the alloys nicely.
There are lots of stands on ebay, they start from around £70, you've probably already seen them. Mine came with a stand but I've no idea how much it was or whether its an original BMW stand or even if there is such a thing? It does the job though

Cheers maxman and marlon, I agree with firebobby I think the black looks good with any colour Z,
there was a sterling grey hardtop up for sale on fleabay by a old forum member that I wanted, but
he had enough of idiots offering silly amounts for it so he took off for sale then this black one came up I am
well pleased with it think it looks great it has got the rear window tinted as well which is a nice little touch.

Still not sure about the colour, it looked really good on my ti silver Zed but maybe not quite as good against ruby black it's matt black so contemplating either getting it sprayed to match the car or wrapped in carbon fibre

May leave it as is though

Yours is matt black? Anyone seen a hardtop in the carbon fibre wrap?
