Yes thank you, I read it.

But if you look at the picture it looks like just the side panels are matt. The roof section including spoiler looks more like sterling grey.

Still not sure about the colour, it looked really good on my ti silver Zed but maybe not quite as good against ruby black it's matt black so contemplating either getting it sprayed to match the car or wrapped in carbon fibre

May leave it as is though

Imho the contrast looks good.

Good spot, although it is just the spoiler that is grey the rest is matt black. the contrast has definitely grown on me so won't be ready wrapping the roof any time soon but still torn on the spoiler, it just depends on the angle as I like the fact it brings out the silver in the grilles wheels and headlights just not sure if it would be better overall in carbon

I thought I saw grey in there!! How come you left the spoiler grey?

I've got silver and want the black contrast too. Much like the soft top contrast, just with the hardtop I think it looks so much better. Recently DanStarr and Marlon posted pics, not silver cars I know but with the same contrasting black hardtop look. Think it really suits the car.

Just can't decide between:
(1) standard shiny/gloss/metallic black
(2) Matt carbon
(3) gloss carbon

I like the idea of carbon. Just don't want it to look tacky

My previous Zed was silver so I really liked the fact the spoiler stood out and matched the car not the roof...

I do think a carbon wrap has the potential to look awesome, but it has to be done right, you would need to wrap it in proper carbon weave and not just carbon effect and it has to be wrapped by someone who is master wrapper. If its done right it will look like a full carbon fibre roof but I think the slightest imperfection in the wrapping process would give it away

Personal I think the carbon could end up looking abit tacky.

Nice! Mines not an exact colour match, and for the hassle of painting just that section I'll think I'll leave it. The idea is tempting tho!

And you've both said it. I like the idea, but not sure it can be pulled off! Unless as 85genius says, it's done by a real pro.
