How Snow Can You Go!

Post by idej_z4 » Sat May 06, 2017 8:43 pm

For some reason I love the outline of a Z4 after it has just been snow-foamed...so, I thought I would start a thread where we can showcase our snowed cars. Lets see who can get the most snow on their car!! And don't forget...

:worthless:

HAHA - these all look like a blizzard compared to my 'light dusting' (I don't have a cannon BTW). :(

Looking at the pics and the amount of foam on the car and the floor, does it leave a horrible mess that takes forever to jet off your driveway or does it breakdown and wash away quickly?

Washes away, but I tend to leave it for a bit, cleans up the drive!

Snow foam does nothing other than linger on the drive for hours* and makes your neighbours think you're an odd ball. Better off rinsing the car with a hose gun on the shower setting then jet washing it before contact washing, it is waste of time and money ime.

*bilt hamber snow foam doesn't do this i should add.

I disagree... by the time you've jet washed the snow foam residue off the car, two bucket washed it and then jet wash rinsed it again, the snow foam has disappeared off the drive. Any that remains is easily swilled away with an additional bucket of water. Simply rinsing the car on a shower setting at the beginning, will not shift the dust and roadfilm that you will then grind into your paintwork when contact washing. Snow foam or some other pre-wash treatment (if you prefer) begins the process of lifting the dirt off the car without contact. The less dirt there is on the car when you eventually use the wash mit, the better!
