For Sale: E89 Roadster Bags

Post by Nairnie » Thu May 25, 2017 10:10 pm

Just sold my car so no longer have a need for these.

In great condition (few minor scuffs) as only used once for our honeymoon road trip around Europe (and we were surprised about how much we could fit in them).

2 big cases and and a flat case designed to fit in the contour of the boot and still put the top down.

If you need more info I bought them from here this time last year:
https://www.koffer24.com/shop/en/rc--ca ... 00--f.html

I am looking for £100 for the set and buyer must be willing to pick up from the Reading area (junction 11, M4) as they are too big to post.

PM me if interested

Thanks

Chris

Hi Nairne
Interested in buying the E89 Roadster bags and happy to pay the £100 if in good condition, not looking for perfect, just wouldn't want to commit to buy and then be disappointed.

Although we are in Peterborough, we are visiting Reading BMW on Wednesday next week (31st May) and could arrange collection during the day, ideally mid-day ish. Would this work with you, and would you be OK with cash on collection.

Please PM me with email contact and address where we could view/purchase the bags during the day on Wednesday

Hi Chris,

Thanks for response to my PM's and email message and surprised to hear that you are selling to another forum member :headbang:

I must say taht I am disappointed, you are selling on the Z4 but forum but not adhering to the rules , I am the first to offer to buy on the forum for sale post. (Refer to "z4 related buying and selling rules" which is the second post on the forum for sale section, see relevent section in bold/itallics below)

Negotiation
All members must be able to visit the forum to deal with their sales roughly on a work-daily basis to respond to questions/offers etc. (i.e. every day or two). You will not be expected to visit weekends and this will be taken into account if there is a delay in your responding
All discussions including offers, acceptances and refusals should be shown clearly in the thread (not by email or PM). Once a deal is agreed you may use whatever form of external communication you like to finalise payment details etc. We insist on this rule because we need to see all the negotiations to be able to mediate a solution to a dispute
You cannot make a higher offer to gazump after a deal has been agreed
You should only make an offer for an item when you have the funds to pay for it. The seller may agree to wait for payment but this should be discussed in the thread with the seller and they are entitled to refuse.
If a vendor reduces the price for a potential purchaser, that price becomes the new asking price for all. However, the item is reserved for that potential purchaser for 1 hour to accept that offer before others can buy it at the new price. (This is known as 'the one hour rule'.)
The first unconditional offer of the asking price secures the sale

Note the rules for selling say that the sale should be conducted via responses to the for sale post so all can see the current situation. The rules also say that you should sell to the first person to offer the asking price, (which is me).

Private messages should only be used to agree payment/collection etc, not to make an offer or agree to a sale.

To be fair the op joined 4 years ago & many prefer to read not write so he shouldn't be judged there .
There are rules for selling but ultimately a seller can choose who to sell to that most suits his circumstance as opposed to the first to register interest :( disappointing maybe but worse things are happening
If anyone lives near Lancs they are welcome to borrow my set
