Side Repeater badges - Where to buy ?

Post by Number5 » Sat Nov 25, 2017 12:28 pm

I've a few stone chips on my side repeater badges, so am looking to replace just the badge (not the whole unit) I've trawled Ebay, etc and can find boot, bonnet, wheel badges etc, but not the side ones alone.

Has anybody else sourced these other than from BMW, and if so where ? Can you post a link please ?

http://www.salesafter.eu/product_info.p ... 5-e86.html

That's directly with a bmw dealership in Germany.

They ship to UK but you have to email them as there is no option to ship to UK online.

I have bought several items off them already, Mr. Eckert is very helpful.

Whilst I've got no problem buying wheel centres from Ebay, as I see them as consumable, for "on the car" stuff I'd only go to BMW, not cheap, but I think they last better. Having said that, my £4 set of wheel centres still look like new after 15k..

If it was for the Alpina, maybe I'd agree but for cosmetics on a low cost Zed its false economy.

Thanks Gustavo7,
Useful link but 44Euros these days is pretty much £44.

Complete side units are available on ebay foraround the £25 mark so I was looking for something in the £10 each area...

I recently bought regular 82mm bonnet badges for £4 each on Ebay. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2767694566
Cut the pins off the back and stick them on to the indicator with thin double-sided foam tape.

Bit frosty this morning but you can see it works fine.

You crack on fella. I'm not really looking to spend £110 just to clear some stone chips, but thanks for the offer Danny

£110?
Thought he ment both for £55. Oh. Will have to double check with him as I’m with u mate £110 for both is a bit too steep for me even if it’s the going rate.

There's plenty on Ebay around £25 already, so it doesn't strike me as a bargain

Just need the clear lenses and badges to mod them but might just use mine and if I don’t like them after the mod get a new pair!
