Sold: Genuine 18” 219M E92 M3 Wheels + Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tyres

Post by Mike. » Sat Dec 02, 2017 8:22 pm

Selling my summer wheels as the car will also be sold before we get summer again!

Genuine BMW E92 219M Wheels (8.5J and 9.5J) with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2’s to fit a Z4M

Tyres are 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 with 3.5mm to 4mm tread across each band (only come with 5mm-5.5mm new)

A few superficial marks/chips on the wheels and a light 1” mark from a kerb but original Ferric Grey Paint.

Rare to find this style as I believe UK M3’s run 260M with a narrower spoke design and these were a Canadian/US market wheel.

Pictures attached, happy to provide more if requested.

The car is standard and I’ve had no issues with these wider, more aggressive wheels. They really make it stand out!

£900 collected from Bedfordshire

Thanks

Mike

You may want to add the Et or offset numbers , the rears look out of the arch from the one pic you have linked so maybe worth adding others if they show them better

Thanks for the heads up, I think it is the lighting playing tricks.

Fronts are ET29
Rears are ET23

They do sit very well but definitely not outside the arches, hopefully the attached photo shows a little better...

Very nice , lowering springs would tuck them inside the arches nicely  :)

Bloody hell, they look perfect - I reckon they’d look awesome on a silver grey M. If I was in the market for some wheels and had the money I’d have them off you in an instant

As for lowering, have to say I disagree - think it looks perfect as they are.
Current... Silver Grey ///M Roadster, non-flimper spec, Imola Red nappa, permanent ear-to-ear grin 8)

Previous... 3.0Si Sport Roadster, Black Sapphire, Dream Red leather with lots of toys and lots of mods...

Thanks for the comments guys, they are a cracking set of wheels and perhaps controversially - I much prefer them to CSL’s!

Will consider splitting wheels and tyres if they don’t sell as a complete set so will let you know

Intrigued that there’s a lot of interest for just the wheels and not so much for the tyres, are the tyres the wrong sizes for people or just too extreme?

I'm intrested in the rear tyres if you decide to split.

i have the 260M and honestly these wheels are utterly beautiful!! Suit the car down to the ground , very rare and most importantly not CSLs.
The car sits so perfect on these , just be careful tyre sizes... Awesome wheels.

Thanks! I had to get them off the car as every time I saw it I U-turned on the decision to sell!

I can confirm that I've covered 7000 miles on these with stock Z4M Suspension since July and not had any issue with these particular tyres and sizes.

The Cup 2's truly are an incredible tyre - I've gone back to the OEM Conti Sport Contacts on the 224M and I can confirm the Michelin is significantly better in these cold damp conditions, and they clear a surprising amount of water. If these or the car don't sell soon i'm going to put them back on as the Conti's are that bad

If the guys that were interested in the wheels/tyres alone wanted to negotiate an arrangement together that would be great - bit reluctant to split them and then only end up selling the wheels or the tyres! Also based on the comments about being careful on tyre sizes I'm a little uneasy on being held responsible if the tyres fitted to the 219's then don't fit a Z4M :(
