Monkey exhaust tips

Post by Machine monkey » Wed Jan 15, 2014 8:41 pm

As my workshop is nearing completion and I have a lathe and I think from tomorrow a TIG welder. I could if your interested make you the reader of this a set. The last post has been deleted witch is a shame but my own doing! There where lots of pictures and I believe happy customers.

So PM me if you want a set. I have a few orders already so there might be a small wait. I am also waiting on material to be delivered so I can't start straight away.

Also if you have had a set and still have the pictures please repost them

Also I have lost a lot of information regarding sizing of exhaust pipes. So if you happen to remember what size I made them for you please also post

Thanks for reading other stuff to come once my milling machine arrives :)

So to help the ordering process All tips are £40a set of 2 ///M cars or cars with a quad will be £80due to the extra tips.

The options
76mm tips (custom made to fit your model and year) These are standard and what most people have.
85mm tips (custom made to fit your model and year) Non standard like Luke's in the pictures.
Oval non standard maybe a little more expensive (Its extra work or more different material) I will get a price on material and confirm.
Polished outside (no extra charge)
Brushed Steel (no charge)
All tip internals will be brushed. Unless polished is asked for ( may cost more) And figure out/make a tool to do it.

BMW made lots of different pipe sizes on the zed 4 so far i have

2.0L oval 1 pipe (no size information yet)
2.0L face lift (no size information yet)
2.2L 2 pipes (no size information yet)
2.2L face lift 2 pipes (no size information yet)
2.5L 2 pipes oval 70mm x 55mm
2.5L face lift 2 pipes (no size information yet)
3.0L 2 pipes oval 70mm x 58mm
3.0L 2 pipes round 60mm diameter
3.2 //M cars 4 pipes (no size information yet)

Hope that helps guys.

If you can make it to OX28 my place i will happily fit them for you.

Yes please Stu I don't want it getting to big just a forum thing. Still got a day job after all and a project house that still needs work. I might have to give up sleep

You have indeed Taz got the dimensions for yours. I am hopping a very very nice forum member who might have posted first to measure his exhaust so I can make some for someone else.

Thanks again In advance Mr Truman

You wanted some for the TT right? Branching out into VAG territory :)

I am sure we could come to an agreement on these for a good discount on a set of wheels

They still look the same now as they did when I first fitted them, they certainly finish off and enhance the rear :D

Your right completely forgot forum rules as well!! They are £35 delivered in the Uk outside then I will have to add the extra postage. And for m cars £65 obviously twice the work but not postage.
