Worrying wet patch emerging from the front though! Hope it wasn't the reason for having the bonnet up...

This is great news buddy. Really pleased you can finally enjoy your car. The braces look great under that bonnet.
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

I've just done the same. Looked like a hell of a project, and I'm sure what you posted wasn't even the half of it! Snap shots of progress aren't the same as actually being there from start to finish.

When I lift the bonnet...... the first thing people comment on are the braces. Look the bollocks mate :thumbsup:

I've been rumbled :rofl: unfortunately a bolt holding powersteering pump in place worked its way loose, scored the back of the pulley, overtime weakened and ended up exploding.

Back breaking ride, very loud, heavy clutch, tail happy and the car gets a lot of attention.

Exactly what I dreamt about when I took her on
