Wanted: Rear Springs For Z4 E85 2.5 Roadster

Post by EViS » Thu Mar 09, 2017 5:35 pm

Just picked up a (hopefully lovely) 2003 2.5l Z4 Roadster which has a snapped spring. Does anyone have a pair of springs which they want to part with?

I have a pair of Suplex rear springs which are M Sport spec from a 3.0Si Coupe. I believe they are the correct size but the spring rate may be ever so slightly different. Only used for about a month, £50.

Would this lower the back of my SE spec more than the front causing a reverse rake and looking very odd (i.e. I would then need M Sport suspension up front)?

Yes, although I do have front M Sport springs too. They are standard and done 70,000 miles but would include them for £55.

Thanks for the offer but I believe I would need to change the shocks as well to account for the shorter springs.

I've gone ahead and ordered a pair of SE spec springs from Suplex now .
