Genuine CSL wheels & tyres offered for £1k + 224s WITHDRAWN

Post by mr wilks » Mon May 29, 2017 4:53 pm

No longer on offer or for sale

Up for grabs here is a genuine set of OEM CSL 19 inch staggered wheels / fronts 8.5j et44 rears 9.5j et27
In no hurry & rather than offer them anywhere else for xxxx££ id rather do a deal if poss with a forum member who really wants a set without shelling out £1750 at BMW plus rubber

To that end i'm wanting £1k cash + a set of 224s which im not fussed about condition or tyres so the deal will appeal to someone ideally with shabby alloys & rubber ready for replacement :?

Now the value of these being what they are i'm looking for someone who can actually view them in the real as opposed to a remote deal with couriers as i don't want to get into a debate down the line over what someone classes as "wear & tear marks " or interprets as " not as described " or "not as expected" etc etc

They are a used set of wheels last refurbed by previous owner so since then have acquired some marks that would rule them out being described as 100% mint .
That said the pictures were taken today & all 4 are in similar condition with wet paint + lacquer finish of hyper silver over a black base .
Wheel centres are OEM & so are the ///M badges

Tyres / fronts are 235 35 19 Vredestein Sessantas with evenly measured 6mm
rears are 255 35 19 Michelin PS3s measuring 4.5mm - 5mm

I'm in Lancashire & can send pics via Whatsapp to anyone considering these , none have any damage , buckles or repairs

To be pedantic these are actually 6yrs old , though with a used wheel there's no saying a 4 month old wheel will be any better than a 14yr old wheel
Closest i can find online right now is £1400 for a "similar" set with a rear having 2 welds
If the deal offered isn't right then it will soon become apparent .

I could be tempted andy. I have a set of shabby 224s with vred wintracs on. Shame about the imo mismatched rear tyres relative to fronts, but that's no biggy I guess.
I'm travelling back to UK tomorrow and could probably arrange some kind of exchange later on in the week. Let me know if that works.
Bearing in mind I will need to replace the rears immediately with 265/30 sessantas if you could stretch to 950 I'd be pretty happy with that.
Of course owf someone else wants to offer the ask then let me know and I'll reconsider.
Thanks
Tom

Yea i appreciate some may see the tyres as mismatched but i switched the rears to the PS3s from the worn Vreds when i bought the car & other than OCD for matching there is zero affect in handling  the 255 35 choice is one i prefer over 265 30 although that itself is a personal one & understand totally that someone may prefer the other .

If you are serious TomK snap these up, if these were available when I was looking I'd have had them for the asking, don't let £50 get in the way.

Hi,

Do these require any spacers to fit or are they the correct fitment being 8.5J for the front?

I viewed a Z4M with CS(L)'s but it had spacers on the front however I think they were 8J which is the CS Wheel?

Cheers

Mike

These being the CSL 8.5j front bolt straight on without need for any spacers although some do run 8-10mm with them .
This pic is without any spacers
