Exhaust manifolds.

Post by fearless » Thu Jul 20, 2017 4:52 pm

Bit of a clear out of bits I've collected over time.

Wheels sold via Ebay.

Brakes sold to ferry

Next up, S50B30 headers. I bought theses as a solution to the lack of exhaust manifolds for rhd cars. With minor modifications they are the only equal length header solution there is for RHD M54 engines as far as I'm aware. Schmiedmann have I think started marketing their kit as suitable for rhd, but you have to hammer some pipes flat. Take a read of these threads to see how it's done, Alun from this forum managed it on a set for fitting to a z4. This set has had the individual flanges welded together. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=860395 http://www.e46zone.com/forum/topic/3748 ... e/?page=37 £250

And finally, as slightly simpler version of the above as a solution to losing the front cats. Decent flow but not equal length, but significantly easier to fit. M52 headers. £40.

All collection only from B78 postcode. Cheers Andy

Next up, 325mm brake set as used on 3.0si. Used for roughly 1K miles. Brembo discs, pagid pads, barely any wear on either. Calipers rebuilt with new seals and pistons. Some surface rust from them sitting in the garage. Good upgrade for non-3.0si setups. £130

All collection only from B78 postcode. Cheers Andy
How come you only got 1k miles from the upgraded brakes? Any reason why (I assume) you switched back to "stock"?
Also as you've not had any interest, would you be willing to post?

After the 325mm I went to an M3 front setup, which frankly didn't provide any more braking power, but looked good.

Would prefer to avoid postage due to weight but can looking into quotes.

Cheers
Andy

Do the brakes need upgraded carriers too if they are going to fit a pre facelift?
