Hi Mark, like you I searched Ebay numerous times and various places on-line to locate some used paddles but couldn't find any and those being sold new from Germany and the States were too pricey when VAT and duty where taken into account in the latter case and postage in both cases so..I bit the bullet and ordered a set from BMW in Ascot. They arrived in June and as I was planning to fit them a nice 2013 car came along and I bought that making the paddles now surplus as my original E89 has gone to a new home. I can vouch for the big improvement in shifting feel, the originals are OK once you get used to them but if like me you have another car with +/- paddles it can be a bit of a pain trying to remember each type of paddle. They cost me £345 a month back, you can have them for £250 plus postage (RMSD is about £7).
