Thanks, Rob. The trouble is, I have no idea how much these items should sell for.

Casing point, I bought a set of back boxes on here for £300 as that appeared to be the going rate suggested by members' posts. I now can't get anywhere near that for my spare set... have I been lied to by a seller on here? Is it bad timing going out of summer? Who knows... I would therefore suggest the age old adage of "it's worth what someone is willing to pay" is the right way to go. That, in my eyes, means an auction, hence eBay and inviting offers from members.

Do I want to recoup as much of my initial outlay as possible? Of course I do! I'm not a financial idiot. If that means I'm perceived as not having a forum spirit... well, I really don't know what to say!

When I have had parts I don't need I give them away to people in need of them. I'm not saying u need to give them away for free but the way your doing things isn't right either. Passive aggressive comments in pm's from u isn't needed, Id rather say things as they are mate. I gave my Z4m gearknob free to a forum member, another my front springs for free. Dropped my engine mounts off to a guy on my way to London to a member for free. Also my gearbox mounts to another for FREE.
I may be from Yorkshire but at least im not as tight as you.

I think for me it went downhill the minute the auction style method not forum etiquette & you should have known better
Stick a price on items you are happy to sell at then hopefully both parties leave happy
