The cigarette holder thingy just pulls out Marlon. Gives you more room for your coins/oddments etc.

I'm thinking of using the "cigarette holder thingy" as a holder for an aux in cable as I don't think the BMW part is still available. Might need to cut the bottom of it a little.

No problem. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer give me a shout and I’ll see about printing off a test piece.

I'm sure I've seen that before - maybe on another forum? The biggest issue seemed to be that you can't close the lid with any cables connected. Almost needs a spare lid you can cut slots in to feed the cables through (or route them down and out the sides).Vornwend wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 11:38 pmThat's interesting, thanks.IAmOrion wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 11:11 pmNot my design but this is on thingiverse (3D printing site)

Does the fault lie with the lid itself or the unit supporting it?, my lid is badly scratched and don't fancy buying a complete unit. Would be great if I could use your plastic lid on my unit. If that makes sense? Obviously happy to pay for it, cheersMefiEcosse wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 6:46 pm Thought I had one but the insert is missing, sorry!
Bought unit last year to replace faulty lid, if the switches as any use to anyone give me a shout!
