3rd gear wheel spin

All ways staggers me at how little grip these vreds seam too have.
 
Just ordered I think my 5th set of Vred's for the /M .. if theyre scrubbed in theyre very grippy.
 
This must be the first post on the forum that I've come across speaking negatively about vreds.

From what contact I've had with them, they seem great value for money!

I'm still able to break traction with my Bridgestone RF's with relatively little effort.

5th set in 66k miles, that about 13k a set - what are you doing with them :poke:

With traction control off, you can spin the tyres very easily. Leave it on and you don't even notice they're spinning.

I usually leave mine on unless it's bone dry, or I'm on track.

Thinking about it, I used to be able to wheel spin my Focus ST through 1st, 2nd and the very beginning of 3rd in the wet.

Hah.. well I guess I'm including a pair of rears as a "set" .. so ignoring the fronts, I'd say 12k was about right for me :)

Not everyone loves them but I do :)

But agreed.. 340bhp + wet + dsc off = wheelspin. why are you surprised? lol
 
I'd be pretty disappointed if I didn't get that in an M! I get it in the 3.0si if it's that wet the wipers are on :poke:
