Thanks buddy
Ironically never was a bmw fan, had a 328ci when first came out and that's it

But this thing, so many buttons are pressed and boxes ticked by these cars
Hence put a whole heap of love into it:)

yes theirs definitely something wrong with few of us on here where the cars appear to be more a member of the family and are seriously pampered......

I'm guilty too , although condition wise I'm cheating with only 12k miles.... owned 10 years now.

grabbing a forum car will definitely put you in a better place to get a better car.

silver is boring but rare although their is quite a few silver cars up at the moment.

Thanks and that's exactly what I am after. I want something that feels special when i cold start it and fully involving when I drive it (which will only be a handful of times a months, then for a few roadtips)

Yeah, being a car but myself, and looking after cars, I know that the forum cars (or at least not from a trader) will be more like I the background i want.

Your car is epic btw, love the KW suspension!

OP, I've been hearing the M2 has started to hit the rocks on depreciation...what's the trade in looking like now on early cars?
Mine is going for £39k, for a 47k new car. So not too bad for 18 months of fun, but if I had sold after 3 months, I would have been 2-3k up (but was having too much fun). But yes, they have really slid and will more as BMW have increased production ...

TBF that's still amazing really....can't think of many £47k new cars that would see that money back after 18 months!

I wouldn't think these will drop below £30k until 2020....might be tempted into one as a daily for mid 30's money.

Thanks buddy!! she's a beaut, really enjoyed having it , loving it and making it something truly special and unique.... With 517hp its got the firepower to back it up
goodluck on the search anyway and keep posting , I'm really interested in where you end up and i can promise you, you'll be quids in and getting a car that will blow your mind, just be prepared to make some changes and you'll be shocked what the car can offer, incredible platform blighted by bmws choice in certain parts,
