Oil pump for S54

Post by AldridgeZ4 » Sun Sep 10, 2017 8:45 pm

I am thinking of getting an oil pump and wondered if anyone has anyone used this oil pump on their Z4M? It is a Pela 6000 and seems to have good reviews, just wondered if it would get all the oil out.

If so was it any good? Or does anyone have a recommendation for around the same price point (40ish quid)

I know i should do it the proper way, but my drive is on a steep slope and I thought this might be easier and safer.
Now gone.......Z4MR. 2007. Boring silver.

The 12v one from Lidl for about £15 do the job well

You might struggle with all of these though going through the dipstick if you are on a steep drive.

I've used a cheap Lidl pump to service three or four different models of car including my ///M and found it very effective.

Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty
