Cotswold M-Performance Club 24th Sept

Post by ClubberL » Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:09 pm

Hi All
A couple of months ago, i had a request to join BMW Cotswold new M-Performance Club. I received a welcome pack and membership card
I joined hoping for discounts on servicing and the like. On friday i received a RSVP to the first meet on the 24th Sept, which includes a tour around their new premises, which is meant to be impressive
I was wondering if any other member has joined or received an invite for the 24th?

I'd go if I was you. I'm not local anymore but used to live in Gloucester, I watched the place go up on my way to and from work and it does look impressive

So, today took my car and lad over to Cheltenham to BMW&Mini new facility. We were welcomed at the gate and told to go the under ground car park. Really impressed with the led cats eyes, showing which way to go just like for planes

Once parked up made our way to the service department on the same floor

Names were ticked of the list by the service manager, the i was introduced to a Master Technician who then took us for a personal tour of the state of the art service department

This picture was taken half way down service department. They service bikes at the bottom, BMW's in the middle and Mini's the far end. They department has places for cars on both sides of the garage and future capacity
I had to add this pic....

M4 with Lamborgini green paint
I didn't take any pictures of the other floors, as they were just like any other showroom. First floor BMW one side and Mini the other, bikes on the top floor
All in all had a good couple of hours having a look around the facilities, and having a look in the car park at some of the cars which were invited to attend. I was surprised at many M Power cars attended. This was the first meet of the M Perfomance club at Cheltenham, i would definitely go again

That's an ugly way to enter a premier dealership, not what I expected at all.

Although it's all shiny and new now the overall feel is too industrial for my liking.

You don't enter the underground car park unless you are getting your car serviced. You drop off your car and pick up a courtesy car their
Going to sales is all done above ground with parking for bikes and cars

Fair enough, I might check the place out soon as in the market for a new Touring but Dick Lovett in Bristol is just as close for us too.
