How many people sorn their cars over winter?

I have always left my weekend toys on the road in case of a nice sunny day over winter, but i resent paying about £50 a month tax if the car is just sitting in the garage?

I suppose a good clean and leave with little fuel along with a cteck is all that's needed if you were to tuck her up over winter?

No, need it daily. Actually need a bigger one so been looking at other possibilities, would like to keep the zed as well but, no garage, no space. see what turns up. On the other hand my 4ft level fits in the boot so I might just get away with keeping it, put the grandkids in the boot as well maybe :D

Too many. :(

Still at least that means when those crisp clear winter days do occur, there are far less folk clogging up the roads, enjoying it with us. :driving:

Not sure I could have the Zed in the garage for 6 months knowing I cannot drive it on those terrific, crisp sunny winter days that crop up every so often.

i do and i wouldn't want it any other way..... i don't want to expose the car to the uk winter and salt... i really don't care what anyones opinion is on that or my lack of usage of the car.

No SORNIng for me. Even if it was a weekend car I'd still keep it on the road for those cold sunny winter mornings. Heater on, toasty bum setting on high, woolly hat- what's not to like?

The end of Oct is when I sorn mine!
I’ve done the same with each of my previous zed s as we’ve always been fortunate enough to have a 4wd with winter rubber available.

Went into Z4 ownership with this scenario in mind.
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Normally I tuck mine away and sorn from about end Oct to about April ish time but due to the weather pattern this year I am going to keep going a bit longer. If the weather looks reasonable in the next 7/14 days thinking of a champagne run to Epernay stock up for the festive season.
