LordOxygen wrote: Sat Oct 28, 2017 6:13 pm I need to buy a new trickle charger to keep the battery topped up while the Zed is in dry storage. (I gave away my last one 10+ years ago and can't remember what it was).
Please can I ask for recommendations for a decent charger that is reliable and is certain to shut off when the bat is full? nothing fancy needed, just safe and reliable. Thanks
I think most of us use the CTEK. Costs about £70 and is excellent.
Thanks very much, I've just ordered the CTEK MXS 5.0 (the reviews are excellent).

Ctek every day.

Is there a reason for leaving with a full tank?
With the new car tax system, if for some reason we have a beautiful sunny crisp Jan it only takes a few clicks on a computer to have the car re-taxed.

Some say it’s beneficial to over inflate the tyres to prevent flattening ??

Mines SORN end of the month, cleaned up, full tank and CTEK on. Will bring it out again in April 18. Will do a few jobs while it’s off the road too.

Neither my bike or car are off the road for any time. There's fun to be had with zmc in the snow, but I will draw the line at bringing the bike out in it!

I’ve just SORN too, not had a chance to clean mine yet, although I do quite like it’s new Sepang colour
It’ll have to wait until the weekend now for a clean.
