What car? all I see is a yellow one way off in the distance
That is an unfortunate setup, you need to get some black mats under your car.

Ahhh, to comment or not...
I do struggle with the "CSL" title you've given the car, when all I've seen is stuff added to the weight of the car, not removed. I'll reserve some judgement til I see the car tomorrow tho as I'll be at Autosport myself all day. Will try and come and have a good nosey under the bonnet though as the power mods do sound good! Any dyno runs to back up the 400bhp claim?

Re: BMW Car Magazine – My Z4M CSL – Pushing the Envelope
Yes the hard top adds weight but all the other stuff is a bout handling and performance and some of the parts provide some weight loss. At the end of the day you can call your car what you like, really, lol. To be honest I just wanted to make it special, yes the ‘CSL’ naming will always call questions, but to me it’s a C ‘Convertible’ SL, lol. Hope you understand.
Also like the look of your car… your car wasn’t the white Z4MC in to Total BMW Mag and number of years ago?
One thing I've learnt about dyno's there all subjective. Pre-Stage 3 Cylinder head, Stage 3 Cams I've had a number of independent dyno's ranging from 378 – 391. However I know the car performance has increased due to the Stage 3 head and cams as my current chassis set-up seems to pitch and drive more than before. Also I’m waiting for the final live mapping that will take into account the Stage 3 head, bigger values, stage 3 cams, etc. I think I posted one of the dyno run’s on the My Z4M CSL Stage 3 Mods posting.
Also the reason why I haven’t be able to get the live mapping work done is because the guy CA-AUTO use for the extreme tuning is never in the country due to his professional motorsport commitments.

LOL, was panning to go today, but will be going tomorrow (Sunday afternoon). Not sure if Recaro will be there as would be nice to see their lightweight seats.... and sit in one, lol.

Re: BMW Car Magazine – My Z4M CSL – Pushing the Envelope
I saw the car at ASI. I had a good chuckle at the comments people were making when they were stood near it looking at the engine etc.
The car is clearly very nice from a specification POV, but I struggled with stuff like the windscreen surround. It was really ruffled. Has it had a new windscreen or some kids playing with it like a pastry pinch around the edge...
Thats my OCD coming through, but I wanted to start pushing it all straight when I saw it

LOL, yes had the windscreen replaced last year, and afterwards wasn't impressed with the finish.

Yeah, they ruffled mine when it was changed. Hopefully in summer as it warms up again it'll get easier to push and shift straight again. I've already done most of it but I still look at it and get annoyed. Needs another pass of straightening out to be perfect

My Z4M CSL has a new playmate…. Best not leave them together too long or a new 1M will appear 9 months later,

I think quite the opposite - leave them together as often as you canZ4M_CSL wrote:My Z4M CSL has a new playmate…. Best not leave them together too long or a new 1M will appear 9 months later,
maybe one day you'll find a whole bunch of 1M's outside your house
