Jeez that DSP and CD changer look like a nightmare to get around.

I have a spare rear console.. with the lower tray if you need to get any part numbers... although if i was on anything other then an apple device could get to realoem for that.

Numbers would be good aquazi, as realoem list only one tray and various numbers, one is the tray for no Nav but there are three others.

At the moment I'm inclined to hide the intravee and alpine unit on the bulkhead behind the centre console, the only issue being if I needed to get to it for some reason.I'll run a USB/serial lead and the iPod lead up to the top tray.

Won't get chance to do anything till next weekend so can change my mind many times.

[quote="srhutch"]Started to fit my Intravee today after giving up on Friday trying to do in the dark.

Due to having OEM bluetooth first job was trying to get the cradle out. Asked PVR but his method seemed to difficult, but it may have just been lost in translation. So using TIS worked out how to seperate the cradle from the door. Used a couple of old credit cards and slide down each side to release. Doing this meant I could get everything out of the way so it wouldn't get damaged.

i didnt know that part came off the cubby door - mine wont stay in the down position - keeps popping up and pushing off the phone adaptor - do you think its possible to replace the bit shown in your photo easy enough? ps can yopu give me any details on how to get the cradle out other than 'use a credit card' cheers.

pps rather you than me in taking all that apart!

No charge for using a credit card, or debit card will do. :poke:

You just need something slim and stiff to pop down either side at the end near the hinges to release the clips.

Current cards will work without damaging them, just I've always a supply of these old ones just for this type of job.

not a problem imp75, yes I believe it's hard wired at the cradle and the plug is between the rear console and the subs/storage section.

Gotmy info from PVR as he was as much use as a chocolate teapot on this one.

Pah, I least I finished them all in a couple of hours - even in a pub car park :poke:

It is hard wired at the cradle end which is why I just left that dangling when fitting (and completing :poke: ) my install a few years back :D

On a serious note, what else can I do with this Intravee other than get the time to update automatically via GPS.

Besides the music part with configurable music screes? You can show all the computer info, amount of fuel used etc etc.

You can use it to program the bus as well, when connected to the X5 it folds the mirrors on locking the car for example.
