They look great, I love Arc8's but they are a little tricky to get a decent concave version on the non ///M.

Thanks for the complements guys, I purchased them from a company called BAANVELGEN Performance parts in the Netherlands, Hendrik Baan was the guy that helped with my transaction, very quick and getting back to you via email, usually with in a matter of hours and also offers great advice with your purchase. The car is lowered on Eibach springs but that's it.

I would definitely look at the apex wheels, the newest editions to the apex brand are the ec-7 wheels which are also very light, both styles are very strong also (JWL tested and VIA certified) and more importantly affordable.

I think ill stick to the colour then guys, the wheels look better in person also as I'm sure most do.

I also went back to the original sized tyres, front, 225, 45 and rear 255, 40 with Michelin pilot super sports.

Aren't the standard sizes 225/40 and 255/35???

I know they are the sizes I generally find when I google it and taken from another thread:

in my manual etc that the appropriate tyres for 18" wheels on mine should be...

Front - 225/40 18
Rear - 255/35 18

Having said that, my car is running the sizes given by the OP.....can anyone clarify this?

Very nice OP, you may have seen in other threads I have been considering the move back down to 18s from the CSLs. It will be the ARC8s or EC-7 I go with. The only challenge I am having is knowing if the ARC8s in the exact size you have bought would clear my AP racing brakes.

Any chance I could ask a cheeky favour and get you to check clearance if I sent you a template?

Wow they're light compared to OEM which are around 26lbs fronts and 30lbs for the rears. I'm not surprised you've noticed a difference

OP..... only thing is i kinda think you've boo boo'd on the tyre size choice, for both tyres will have a slight stretch to them and the rims won't have any protection, i think you should have gone 235/40 and 265/35 respectively, you May find that 40 aspect ratio in the rear on an ET22 offset catches the fender lip/liner.... take the car on the fast bumpy b-road that gives full compression and report back.....

Hmmm, think I would need some more neg camber if I ran that offset with my current setup. Other option would be to raise ride height I guess...

I run my CSLs and oem 224s with a 5mm spacer and only just avoid rubbing when using track biased rubber (235/40 18). Effective offset on that setup is et37 so was hoping the et38s would be a straight fit

Getting pushed towards the EC7s again with the ET35 setup

yeah the lower the offset the more camber needed, i run a -et29 up front, you should see my front wheels!!! lmao!! serious camber, but my ride height is very conservative, higher than the stock damper/eibach lowering spring combo id say... works very well for my aggressively setup vehicle.

Of course, ill even message the guy at baan velgen and the agent at apex I spoke to and ask them, I know for certain the ec-7 wheels have more clearence for definite.
