Post by Chris_Z4M » Fri Jul 08, 2016 1:28 pm

Could someone point me in the right direction please on getting a few sump washers for the z4m I have checked ebay but too many different choices around.
Is it a copper washer and what size please?

Many thanks

Or even better go to main dealer and pay £15 for a brand new bmw one.
They come with new rubber washers for top of oil filter cap and then a small one for the central post base and a lovely new sump washer :)

40% lighter than the original dump plug as well.

Good idea though with the magnets, or does ours already have them in the sump?

ok as long as you use ~25Nm as a guidance for tightening torque.
A stripped out sump can be very costly.
