Can you take a couple of vids before you do Byron?
Do you think the change will affect the power you're putting down?

Still loving the car, enjoying the exhaust more now so keeping for now.

Did get a bit of understeer on a greasy roundabout at a sensible speed which wouldnt of happened in the m3, maybe time to get rid of the continental m3s. Gave the eventuri a polish

Also I've been wondering what kind of finish I have on my alloys its one I haven't seen before it's quite rough to the touch but I like it. Any ideas?

Conti m3 tyres are old now buddy hence grip issues
Wheels finish, I'd say they've had a refurb buddy

So after much thought I removed & sold the Supersprint race+xpipe & picked up a nice pair of Remus from a member

Supersprints ready for new owner

Some autosol on the remus

and fitted

Driving around this weekend part of me was missing the supersprints. They added so much character but were pretty loud everywhere
from the burble low down & the scream at top end. Will miss them at the weekend but probably not so much on my drives to work

The Remus by comparison are pretty subtle no drone whatsoever and a nice scream at top end. Someone did a drive by while I was stood outside and the sound along with the eventuri was amazing not far off a csl. Its slighly more subdued inside. This may get louder when my new oem xpipe has broken in. Its fine for now but you never know may go for something slightly louder in the future but with stock xpipe.

Been interesting reading about your exhaust decisions.

I have a similar dilemma over a slight drone but I've got used to this (and how to avoid it) and look forward to the 'sports' noise now when I go out on a run.

mc5, Remus back boxes look lovely after a polish  Be interesting to hear what you make of them after a few weeks use. When I had them first fitted I was a little underwhelmed but over time I realised they were just about spot on.

Cheers Markos to be fair they were in great condition when you gave them to me.
Long term they are probably just right, but yes I was expecting a little more volume lower down. Guess I was just too used to the volume of the supersprints.

I wish I started mine up when you came over: the standard boxes are SO quiet on tick over it's crazy

The remus has got a little louder now my xpipe has broken in so no regrets there
Kerbed the alloy so had to get the paint matched overall pretty pleased and shod with some new supersports on the front.

Nice. Bet it feels great on those MPSS - never heard good things about the Contis!

I know what you mean about the Eventuri. Hard to appreciate how angry it sounds until you hear it from outside the car.

No updates for a while. Car has been faultless. Have been thinking of moving to an e92 m3 but might hold off until the new year.
Car flew through its mot today with no advisories and looking forward to having some new bilstein b6s fitted tomorrow to go with my eibachs
