I am a bit OCD when it comes to cars and i would like to replace the bonnet badge due to wear and tear, it looks a bit shabby. I have a replacement but no matter what i do i cannot get the original to budge more than a MM. I am very weary of scratching the bonnet and wondered if anyone knows of a fail safe way of getting it to budge ?
Here is ever hopeful

The badge has 2 plastic bits that protrude through the front bumper and have 2 funny nuts on them to locate it. As the nuts screw onto the plastic bits they carve a thread. You need to remove 1 or both of the grills and can then get a spanner on the nuts to undo them. Best of luck

Haha as said
10mm socket and a small rather will help
Don't worry about the nuts as new ones come with new badge
They're like a cutting tool digging into badge stem
Remove a kidney grill for access two hand through grill and slowly pop out

Removing the grills - push up on the top of the grill and pull out from the bottom, they will pop out.
