Coming back to the CDV removal, today I was at my mechanic to book an appointment for my car and I told him that I want also to remove the CDV. He told me that this not a good idea it since I will loose the nice feel of the clutch and this mod is done only by car racers. He also told me that he has not done it to his track car. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure why removing the restriction would cause us loose the nice feel of the clutch. It's doesn't alter this at all.

Thanks Beedub. I loved that car, it was as it came out of the factory (apart from intake and exhaust).

After some carful thought I think it's safe to say he's a t**t.

He probably doesn't know how to do and just wanted to save face.

Probably you are right because he asked me what is the CDV and how this can be done. I explained to him that I have read it is the removal of delay valve that car has and I have seen some photos on the forum that you have to bleed the hose and remove the valve. Buy since I am not mechanic I am not quite sure. He told me after I know what you mean and bla bla bla. Anyway I will do it no matter what and especially since it is something that I can undo.

So he didn't know what a CDV was - that would be the giveaway :D
