Can pick up a f type v8 for under 50k now which is good value. 480 bhp 5.0 v8mmm-five wrote:Approx £8k from Simpsons.Yorkie Z wrote:Anyway far more importantly, have you priced up a supercharger? It was £5k plus labour about 4 years ago, but the combination of $ to £ exchange rate, and rise in price in the US, means it's going up all the time.
Did contemplate an F-Type coupe, but I'd have to get the R to be significantly faster than the M, and that's £90k - so will have to wait a few years until they've come down A LOT!
It's all moot at the moment anyway, as I'm between well-paying contracts and might have to do some 'living wage' jobs for a few months.

Z4M at rogers in Preston has anyone been to see it, why still for sale I thought good price with a little negotiation. Searched on forum for it, hasn't been discussed just pointed out?

Emailed them and they'll give me 5500-6000 for mine as is without my hardtop which to be fair I'd probably keep and use on my MR whenever that may be...

The one I want is the V8R @ 550bhp, and can't see one for less than £56k - although that's still a lot more than I'd be wanting to spend (I wait for them to come down to new Focus RS prices).Viren wrote:Can pick up a f type v8 for under 50k now which is good value. 480 bhp 5.0 v8
The V8S can be had cheaper, but I've not seen it in coupe guise.

They estimated around £10k when I spoke to them at the end of last year - I just need Trump to ruin the US economy and I'll be fitting one to mine!mmm-five wrote:Approx £8k from Simpsons.Yorkie Z wrote:Anyway far more importantly, have you priced up a supercharger?
