Where to buy z4m front discs / pads?

Post by docp » Tue May 09, 2017 1:16 pm

Hi there

I'm in need of a new set of front discs and pads due to a sticking calliper. Would appreciate any advice re: recommend suppliers for genuine / OEM discs.

Thanks!

Thanks I'll take a look! Correct in thinking E46 csl 345mm discs are the correct spec? And from what I've read ATE are the OEM manufacturers?
Cheers

Yes, we use the same front brakes as a CSL/CS.

indeed that is correct, 345mm for our machines... E46 M3 uses 325mm discs, I've seen a few of people buy the normal M3 discs and then get home and realize its smaller.. :headbang:

They are, I've just put some of these on mine today along with Brembo pads. The genuine rears I got don't seem as nice as the Ate ones which is odd :o I had to do quite a bit of cleaning up the carrier to get the new pads to fit properly though, so be prepared :)

What pads did you go for? I'm looking on their site now and can't get near £670 for front and rear discs and pads.

I'm guessing it's the front/rear discs from Awesome (for £573), and the ATE/Pagid/Ferodo/Brembo/Textar standard perofrmance ones from CarParts4Less or EuroCarParts (for the other £100).

I phoned them and mentioned the forum and asked for discs and standard spec pads.
