I went to my local dealer (Barons Stanstead) to look at an M2 the other week and naturally, we got onto the topic of my Z4MC. The sales executive there said she'd only seen one Z4MC in her 7 years working at BMW...quite surprising really. Then got me thinking, actually I haven't seen another MC in my area (epping/harlow/stortford)....ever...! Even when I had the CSL there was 2 of us within a semi-local vicinity.

Other than the forum meets, how often do others see fellow M's on the daily journeys?

Only seen two in the last year and a half, and I think it may have been the same one

I've seen the same roadster a couple of times and Coupe once round where I live, but that's it in over two years.

about as often as I see another TT RS

I saw a beautiful red z4mc going out of Ardingley, in Sussex on Saturday morning. Before that had not seen one on the road for many months. It must be summer!

I've never seen one that I know of, TBH before joining here I didn't know that the different bonnet & quad exhausts gave the game away & so may have seen one without realising.

Only when I go to a Z car club event. In our local car club their are a number of Z3 M's and 3 of us have Z4's M Roadster. No Z3 or Z4 coups as we are a Roadster club.

Apart from fellow members cars at meets, I can only remember ever seeing one out and about - a silver M Coupe.

Don't think I've ever seen an MC driving around or parked up, outside a meet or cruise. Even MRs I could count on one hand the amount I've seen on the road.

I've seen a couple over the last few months. Weirdly coupes not the roadsters. I've only seen a couple of si coupes too so they're all pretty rare.. loads of 2.0 etc roadsters tho.

Ive seen a couple of red MR's recently but then I guess they are as common as muck these days

I don't recall seeing another Z4MR apart from on Forum runs. A guy at work who lives near us bought an Z4MC and have been out on one run with him, not sure if he still has the car. Honestly I think there are more Murcielagos in Cornwall.

I have seen a dark grey coupe in Swansea area a few times.

Used to see the same MR for a while in Hertfordshire and now I see an MC near Chester, did wave the other day but no response...
