35 offset I think. My son used to run a 2.5Z and he had 9.5J offset 35 on the front with a 225 tyre.

mr wilks wrote: Wed May 24, 2017 9:41 am You could throw a rear 224 on front to get a idea of how it will stand in arch ?
I've tried that, it almost works but sticks out that bit too far. Well, you could probably just get away with it if running 5 degrees negative camber and don't want to use full steering lock! :D

Totally agree Dave but sometimes you have to see with your own eyes before you put a line through a idea

That was how I came to try fitting the rears on the front, I'd read it couldn't be done but thought I would give it a try...just in case!

30 offset for the 224 rear isn't it? Maybe that's the extra too far. I have no issues with mine 9J @et35.

Mr Wilks - haven't you tried 9J ET37 on the fronts? Just 2mm difference. :poke:
You were recommending them here....viewtopic.php?t=64685

I've not said the wheels the OP wants won't fit have i :? simply that trying a wheel will sometimes give you a better impression than a calculation online will then you can decide & either put a line through the idea or not
9J et 37 will clearly fit either M or non M z4 dependent on suspension so not sure why youve spent time trawling back through 3 years of my posts  clearly time to burn so crack on chap :poke:

Hahaha.. was a 2 second search. Search for wheels and ET and you are usually the man with the knowledge
Just trying to help the Op out with examples.

I run CSLs with a 12mm spacer so essentially an et32 on a 8.5j if that's any help.

Thanks RedUn. I'm currently running 8.5j et30 fronts lowered on H&Rs with no rubbing but it's on the limit!
