CSLs buckled - where to fix?

Post by zmaster007 » Mon Jun 12, 2017 11:23 am

Hi guys,
As above, both my rear CSL's have buckled, causing a vibration at speed. I've kept them in great condition - they don't need refurbishing - but I guess they will have to be stripped to be straightened? Any companies you would recommend to straighten them at a reasonable price in the Herts/Beds area? Could also do West London
Cheers

Common problem with the OEM CSL wheels unfortunately..... this is the reason some people fit the Reps along with price!

The main issue is the roads in the UK they are some of the worst in Europe.

There is a great place in Guildford mate called Primo Alloys, another company to look at is the Wheel Specialist in Kingston they may be able to do it as well.

Have you had them balanced since you have seen the buckle to try and improve it?

How big a buckle is it?

Hope you get it sorted soon

Of course they're! ;) They're made out of special alloy with a bit of BMW magic dust in the mix.

I had mine refurbished a few years ago by these guys (I think, they seem to have changed branding a bit) who actually manufacture wheels too.

They got them back to an OEM finish. It was just curbing they were fixing for mine though.
