Drivers side wingmirror replacement

Post by TommyGG » Mon Jul 17, 2017 1:25 pm

Got snapped off good and proper by a football - looking for a replacement but struggling to find one!

E85 drivers side mirror - sterling grey. (Time to take off the wrap!)

Does anyone know where I can buy one that doesn't cost £300?

Ebay would be a good call, or it can be fixed with some Qbound.

where are you based?

You need to get the mirror off and stripped down to do it properly but if you are anywhere near South Yorkshire I dont mind helping you do it :)

Very kind offer (always blown away by people on here!) but am quite far away :)

Keeping an eye out on ebay for a while - no luck always passenger side!

Tried epoxy resin on it - but it's such a bad break it wont hold. Currently have meters of duct tape wrapped around it to hold it in place :(

Drivers side, and with best offer. Be cheeky... you never know! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... ID=EBAY-GB

P.S. I think you'll have to wrap them anyway... so might as well stick with the blue :D

Wrap is coming off (looks very patchy now and insurance is hard to get with it and is due for renewal in a month!). Do need one in silver - if I bought that one is it possible to spray it?

Should be simple enough? Sand, prime, paint, lacquer? Maybe some sanding in the middle? Lol.

If you're in doubt could always buy both? Two black mirrors wouldn't look out of place?
