OK, I took a leisurely (fingers crossed) 340 mile cruise to see mumsie yesterday.
Made a couple of stops along the way, second stop I had to park next to the Tesla charging bay which contained a full race spec Tesla, got to admit it looked amazing and considering a 0-60 time of 2 sec and a price over £150k it was quite impressive.
So after parking I buy a costa and sit close to my car in the sunshine (watching for door dingers).
Suddenly I think a spitfire is landing in the car park as two amazing race spec GTR's growl into the car park. Now I am not a GTR fan but these were obviously road legal track cars and looked amazing.
So now my little zeee is sandwiched between around £400k worth of automotive excellence when along come two young lads and their ladies who eye the cars as they pass. I heard one them say "the Tesla and GTR's are nice but I would rather have the Z4", "me too" said one of the girls.

Nice too hear and reinforces my belief that I (and all of you) have the most excellent taste in automobiles.....

I can attest to this,

I have had quite a few people stop to take pictures of my Z4, or come up and compliment me about it. Excellent choice indeed

One of the reasons I got one. It impressed me, and they certainly turn heads.

The best choice of two seater below £40,000 without a doubt.

There's a bit of people liking what they aspire too/ could afford themselves, with a little effort in there. But it's always nice to hear. I've heard similar on a number of occasions, when surrounded by precious metal on PH runs.

This afternoon,my young lady and I headed out for a short picnic run which developed,as they invariably do into a decent long drive across country to the west coast, then up to Aberystwyth, over the mountain road and down into the Elan valley where we pulled up for a break.
We could hear some potent engines approaching,so turned to see an E89 and a Morgan plus 4 Supersport stopping behind us,and the driver exclaiming "Wow!,I used to have one of those!"I replied I'll bet you miss it?He was honest enough to say that he did

I found the Z4 gets some nice attention - and bad. Mine was keyed at the weekend; rear quarter, door and front wing - right down the side. There are some unpleasant, small minded people out there.

Always worth reporting, so much CCTv now they can often find and follow the perpetrators till they jump in a car or taxi etc
