size hood emblem

Post by gajah » Mon Apr 14, 2008 7:08 am

sorry to ask another silly question,

what is the hood emblem size for z4?
i know it's not the same with the trunk one
but a lot of time, the emblems sold in ebay always have the same size (hood and trunk)
thats why i want to make sure first

thank you! =)

Highly unlikely that you'll find a 70mm on e-aby.... I've looked MANY times.
The closest you'll find is a 72mm, which does not fit w/o some customization.

There's a raised part of the bumper under the badge that has to be shaved.
& the edges of the Roundel also have to be trimmed on the underside.

You will alos likely find that the aftermarket lugs are inadequate to bolt the badge on as per the original so will need double sided tape, or my personal preference a couple of dabs of clear silicone to bond it to the bumper cover
