Post by ovrkll » Thu Nov 29, 2007 11:23 am

Here is a link to parts info for our cars, search by vehicle type and year, to get a specific parts breakdown

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/

A parts cross reference to see if that part is common to another model:

Another site for parts:

Cheers!

All well and good - that's what I needed to find the part number for my wayward headlight washer cover.

But I cannot buy from there.

Where can I buy from over the webz?

Did the stealers deny your warranty request? Dem losers. You should really complain to BMW AU to get this frivolous matter resolved. Friggin $100k+ car and they won't even take care of their customer. :x Sorry... I'm just pissed off on your behalf.

Seconded... cause a stink about this, and name and shame the dealer in the dealer feedback section.

I looked up my paddle shifter parts and ordered from them. Pretty good discount off retail too.

For anyone in the UK who wants to order genuine BMW parts online, Cooper Reading BMW have finally started accepting part orders through their website. http://www.cooper-bmw-parts.co.uk

I have just bought a few parts using their service and it worked a treat, with good communication and status updates.
Just find your part numbers using one of the sites mentioned above and put them into the part number search. You will have to remove any the spaces from the number before you search as it won't find them if you don't.

That's been available for quite a while, but you'll still have to call them to negotiate any discounts.

I've found a sort of plug socket in the middle glove compartment that looks as if it should be a connection but theres no way of connecting it to my mp3. Is there some sort of attatchment I need to buy, or is there some other problem?
you would be better posting this on a 3 series site

You need to really look deeper on things here in order to know the bmw parts info and part numbers of your desired parts. In this way, you would be able to determine what to find and how to do it. Hope all will be well if you are persistent in this one.
