Ok... so I was prepared to replace the motor for my soft top. I removed the top and found the motor looks as good as the new one and the right actuator is wet with fluid and the motor resvior is empty. It looks as though it came from the top of the actuator. Has anyone ever had to replace one of these. The price is actually more than the motor and TIS says its is only repalceable with the "convertible top frame" not even sure what all that consists of.... ugggg help if you can please.

brotherdale - welcome to the forum
Sorry to hear about this and never heard of this before. I'd be consulting a hydraulics company for advice given the comments you have from the TIS
It's normal btw to introduce yourself on the site before diving in for repair advice.

can you see any part number on the actuator, NON OEM part number hopefully and then do a search online you might be lucky , it may have other applications ! good luck
