anyone fitted a tow eye number plate holder?
Thinking of getting one but wouldn't it block one of the fog lights?

I've looked into these too.ba3bas wrote:Thinking of getting one but wouldn't it block one of the fog lights?
They're adjustable for those with fogs. Slide left or right.
Plus you can get them made to sit off centre from the fixing point for extra clearance to one side.
If it smells bad don't taste it. If It tastes bad you should have smelt it first!

Spare tow eye and butcher it.
I planned on doing that and realised I didn't have sufficient cutting tools for the job.

I had one on mine (marius old car) liked it at first but didnt think it flowed well with the shape of the car so removed it. It was badly made from an old towing eye, i replaced it with a stick on front plate instead and love it

I keep meaning to make one as I am naked up front!!!
Send me a tow eye and the size of you number plate. Better still with a plate and I will make one up for you.

I'm starting to think it'll look odd as slightly offset from centre since you don't want it fouling the headlight, fog light or kidneys.
Cars in for a fresh coat of paint so have time to think about it.
