Model Cars (big ones)

Hey guys, bit of a random one but people are into all sorts so someone might know! 
I'm looking to get a big model ferrari, lambo, porsche or even a Z4M, M3 etc for the welcome desk at my business. Would like it to be a good quality one and as big as possible - so far I've come across Pocher models which are the only ones that seem to be 1/8.
Wondered if anyone knew a) if there were any other makes out there and b) are they really worth the price? They seem to be 500-1000 in good condition, 3-500 in average condition. Looking to buy used to save a bit but am guessing it's one of those things where you have to see them in the flesh to see what the quality is like?
