Recently bought my first Z4 a 2005 2.0L which im incredibly happy with! After driving my mother in-laws 2006 Z4m Roadster i decided i had to buy a Z4 for myself (although one that was a bit more in my price range, reasonable insurance and nowhere near as thirsty!) just thought id put a post up to introduce myself.

Thanks guys, would have posted some pictures but i am currently getting the roof motor replaced under warranty as it failed the day after i got the car, think when its done and out of warranty i might get the motor relocated to the boot to avoid this problem happening again in the future! will get some up when i get it back hopefully this weekend :D

Ask them to move it whilst they replace it, prob adds 10 mins work...

Welcome to the forum OP.

MIL with a Z4MR - she has good taste! You'll be OK so long as her daughter doesn't decide she needs one!

Lucky your roof motor is getting done under warranty - if they refuse to relocate it ducklakeview does them all the time. If you aren't in his part of the world there are others on here who will do it.

We'll let you off the photos for now. :)

Hi and welcome.

I am amazed that no-one else has requested pics of your Zed and the mother in law's Zed. When does MIL join the Forum?

Well worth getting the roof motor relocated. I kept meaning to get it done and then on,y got it done when it failed.

Enjoy :driving:

It's a 10 minute job for DuckLakeView, however he's done quite a few (well over 100 I believe).
